Buying Guide

Here at BigfootHD you will find three different ways to license our footage, as a clip, a custom series of clips, and as catalogs.
This simple guide will assist you in choosing the best option for your project and budget.

Buying a catalog:

    1. Simply click on the “products” button from the toolbar on our homepage. This will take you to a listing of catalogs and their respective prices. Clicking on any of these links will take you to the catalog’s product page where you can preview the clips within that catalog and add them to your shopping cart.

    2. Another easy way to find a catalog is through the keyword search function. Simply add the keyword “catalog” to your search.

    3. Finally you can always look for the catalog icons when browsing through our website.

    Why buy a catalog?

A catalog is a collection of 10 to 30 video clips (each clip ranges in length from 10 to 20 seconds) that have a common theme. Catalogs are great when you need various shots of the same subject matter to build a montage or sequence for your project’s immediate needs or to build your own footage library to use for future projects.

Buying a single or variety of clips:

    1. Perform a simple search. Choose your clip(s) and add to shopping cart.

    2. Just click on the category tree on the left panel and all clips belonging to that category will be displayed. You just have to roll your mouse over the images to preview them and when you click it will take you to a higher-resolution preview page where you can add the clip to your shopping cart.

    3. When previewing a catalog, you can also click on any click to preview them and add them to you shopping cart.

    4. Find a clip in the video wall of our homepage, preview clip right there in the wall and then click on upper right corner of the clip which will take you to the product page where you can put it in your shopping cart and buy the clip.
